In the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education, the Main Integrative Discipline plays an essential role, due to its generalizing potential of learning. The shortcomings identified in the preparation of the teachers of said discipline to enhance the investigative component in the academic, labor and extension activities to be fulfilled in Higher Education, allow affirming the need to structure actions of a methodological nature to favor the solution of professional problems and assume a dynamic position in the face of the changes that society demands and project their training practice with a scientific vision in connection with educational environments from the integration of content. As a result of the theoretical analysis and the exploratory study of the preparation of teachers in the training practice, with the use of a qualitative - quantitative, descriptive methodology, the directions and methodological actions are established. Exposing the results achieved in this first approach to the preparation of teachers in this sense is the objective of this work, background of the doctoral research about the methodological preparation of teachers of the Main Integrative Discipline for the integration of content.
