Training constitutes an imperative in the face of the challenges imposed by the new world socioeconomic scenario, from which Cuba is not exempt. This process is key for the tourism sector. There are points of contact between training and tourism and, consequently, the possibility of study and systematization. In order to offer unrepeatable tourist experiences, it is necessary to have the best professionals, service vocation and culture of detail. There are reasons for pedagogical knowledge to be interested and concerned about the actions that can be developed in the tourism company as an educational scenario. The present work aims at characterizing the training process in tourism. In the theoretical research, techniques and procedures were used with a qualitative methodological approach, supported by the study of previous publications and trend analysis.
