It is stressed that kidney affection marks the prognosis in patients with Schönlein-Henoch purpura, but it is rare in adults and it is unfrequently reported among the kidney transplant recipients at these ages. A case of a female patient with history of nephritis due to Schönlein-Henoch purpura and loss of the renal function, with an early and acute recurrence of such injury in the transplanted kidney, is reported. Her evolution and histologic and biopsy findings are described. Some characteristics of this affection are commented
