A brief account of the emergence of cyanoacrilates and their application as human tissue adhesives is made. Also, the principal characteristics and recommendations for the use of this adhesive material are described. This product which is manufactured in Cuba is under production and application licences given by national authorities for external use and has open protocole for any other non-registered use after official registration.
