In order to identify sources of scientific information connected with military medicine available in Internet and Infomed, a process of search, selection and evaluation of Web sites of official organizations and of medicomilitary research, academic and health care institutions of different parts of the world took place. The process was developed by using search engines (Altavista, Google and Yahoo), with the terms "medicina militar" and "military medicine". After that, directories were identified and by the page link it was made a relation of sites of interest. The relevance of their contents and their usfulness for the military doctor were evaluated. It was concluded that there are numerous sources of medicomilitary content of public and open character in Internet that makes possible the access to information and knowledge of this specific segment of the medical community.
