Resumen

An investigation of technological innovation is presented here to improve process management in the departments of science, technology and innovation at medical universities. This study was conducted at General Calixto García Faculty of Medical Sciences in 2014. The design of an information system was performed as web application in HTML, as organized to provide and collect information on managerial and strategic processes, which compiles purposes as an educational program from the principles of advanced education method. Its components were structured in two dimensions of science, technology and innovation: intellectual production and technological innovation, which is broken down into 10 indicators, assessment scales by level of compliance within a period of time. This system offers several advantages such as low cost, easy accessibility and operational, allowing greater efficiency, effectiveness and optimization of time in managing science, technology and innovation processes.
