Major General Juan Emilio Núñez Rodríguez was a stomatologist of the Liberation Army, with an outstanding career that places him as a soldier in the three wars against the Spanish rule. He was the only dentist who reached this rank at this stage of history. We aimed to make known this outstanding personality life and work.
