The professional performance of the teaching staff of the XXI century requires pedagogical, specific disciplinary training and in the use of emerging technologies, in order to ensure the effectiveness and excellence of their professional practice. Faced with this need, the objective of the research was to characterize the level of Teaching Digital Competence (CDD) of the university graduates that make up the faculty who teach at a professional technical level in the Pichincha District Zone 4 of the Manabí province, Ecuador. A quantitative methodological approach with a non-experimental design was adopted, developing a descriptive-correlational field study with 45 university graduates who teach at a professional technical level. The results obtained showed that the level of CDD perceived by the surveyed teaching staff was characterized by a general medium-low trend, with a homogeneous categorization in all the dimensions of the competence in the levels of knowledge and use in the teaching staff.
