It examines the conformation of information science from epistemology and information science relation. It describes and analyzes certain epistemological problems in that knowledge domain. Essential historical stages of are proposed including its epistemological all configuration. Kuhnian concept of paradigm and community as analytical tools are used. Detailed theoretical influences related to conceptual and theoretical care elaborations of this area of knowledge are exposed.
