At present the operation of the 34.5kV network of the province of Villa Clara is very complex because the existing disconnected are operated by staff and operating times are long. The objective of the implementation of the automation 34.5 kV networks in Villa Clara is operate as efficiently way as possible, where you supply the electricity to customers with minimal operating costs, high reliability, reduced the frequency of interruptions and the times. There have been selected the most important loops in the province, which include distributed generation, performing load flow runs using the Power System Explorer software(PSX), obtaining the locations should be placed reclosing. They shall communicate with each other and can be configured for different conditions, in addition to being to operate them at a distance.
