Resumen

JESUS DIAZ DIAZ, Frank  y  LAZARO CASTRO AREVALO, Ariel. Virtual Mentality: Requirements for Designing Tutorship in Distance Education Accounting Degree . Cofin [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.2, pp. 57-68. ISSN 2073-6061.

The rapid progress of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) forces us to include virtuality as a novel way of teaching in learning environments. Additionally, we should not neglect the design of tutorship as a key factor in offering distance learning degrees. This paper deals with how the Information Systems and Technologies for Accountants course might contribute to the appropriate use of Moodle, a free and open-source software learning management system. Regarding this subject it was possible to ascertain, by means of the instruments used, that the problem goes beyond the mere creation of a methodology for running teaching programs on the learning platform Moodle, because professors are also required to have knowledge of virtualization of contents.

Palabras clave : Design of Tutorship; Distance Education; Moodle.
