Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a subject is taught in the sixth semester in the Information Systems (IS) major at the Universidad Metropolitana del Ecuador (UMET) in the April-August 2017 semester the topic of Logic Programming and PROLOG programming language on campus La Coruña at Quito was included as the first topic. This decision is made since this language constitutes a paradigm of declarative programming and basis for to the understanding of other concepts of AI. Teaching and understanding this language is complex thereforemany learning strategies to achieve better academic results and greater motivation for studying it has been developed by teachers in IS majors. This article presents the application of results from authors’ practices achievedby doing classroom actions in the AI subject with students of the Computer Science majorin the Universidad Central Marta Abreu of Las Villas de Cuba, answer tasks on Logical Programming. These tasks focus on improving the delivery of this content sothat students acquire skills in solving problems both as students and as future professionalsas well.
