The Andean communities have different intangible cultural manifestations, one of them is the flowering of the agricultural cycle that is the evidence of the presence of flowers, medicinal, food and sacred plants, as well as grains and fruits as a gift of nature that is the Pachakamak, which gives to the human community being the reason for the celebration and gratitude to the reciprocal love of Pachamama (Nature) and Pachakamak Yaya (God). The social customs, rituals and festive events in Ecuador constitute customs that structure the life of communities and groups, being shared and estimated by many of its members. Their importance is that they reaffirm the identity of those who practice them as a group or society and, whether they are practiced in public or in private, they are closely linked with significant events; rituals and festivals that contribute to pointing out the changes of season, the times of agrarian tasks and the stages of human life. They are intimately related to the world view, the history and the memory of the communities. Their manifestations can go from small meetings to celebrations and social commemorations of great proportions.
