The objective of this article was to carry out a Bibliometric study of the Agroecosistemas Scientific Journal, the information was obtained from the electronic version of the journal (electronic ISSN: 2415-2862), and the following were established as Bibliometric indicators for analysis: number of articles published by year of publication, subject, authorship index, authors with the highest scientific production, institutional affiliation of the authors, productivity by country. The methodology used, a descriptive and retrospective bibliometric analysis of scientific production from 2013 to 2020. As results stand out: The institutional affiliation of the authors shows that the journal has a fairly diversified field of sagacity. Throughout this period, professors and researchers from 9 National and 15 International Universities have published; as well as other organizations and institutions that stand out, despite being a young magazine. The conclusions discuss the most relevant aspects that need to be promoted and others that need to be improved so that the journal can be more widely disseminated. Finally, the study offers some suggestions for progress to improve the impact of the journal and its national and international positioning in databases.
