CALLE CASTRO, Aida Karina; ERAZO ALVAREZ, Juan Carlos  y  VASQUEZ ERAZO, Edwin Joselito. Impact of corporate social responsibility in private health institutions of Azogues, Ecuador. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.5, pp. 621-629.  Epub 30-Oct-2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a tool that can be applied in organizations involved in the health sector through the implementation of policies for the selection of suppliers, qualified and specialized personnel, optimal and competitive prices, which leads to customer loyalty and, consequently, favorable economic results. In order to determine whether private clinics in the city of Azogues include CSR policies in their internal governance plans, a historical review was made, citing several authors. The research has a mixed approach, with a descriptive, non-experimental and explanatory method. Two surveys were carried out to gather the information, one of the external public (users and inhabitants) and the other of the internal public (professionals, employees and workers). It is concluded that private health entities pursue excellence in the provision of services, with the establishment of continuous training programs and the initiation of dissemination campaigns that reflect their commitment to the community and the environment, considering professional and corporate ethics as fundamental values at the core of the business; aspects that, focused on achieving the common good, allow improving the perception of their corporate image.

Palabras clave : Corporate social responsibility; Health; Quality; Service; Customers.
