GARCIA, Javier Ignacio Briones; RAMOS, Manuel María Fiallos; ALEMAN, Luis Samuel Eduardo Arias  y  LOPEZ, Efraín Velasteguí. Obtaining microcrystalline cellulose from pennisetum purpureum by means of sour and alkaline hidrolisis. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.2, pp. 389-399.  Epub 30-Abr-2023. The formative experiment is understood integrally as that experiment that allows subjecting the proposal, to validation in the formative practice. In the carried out investigation he/she undergoes scientific valuation the obtaining of cellulose microcrystalline by means of the one mentioned experimentation form. The objective of the present investigation is the application of a formative experiment in the process of obtaining of cellulose microcrystalline starting from the Pennisetum Purpureum by means of the combination of sour and alkaline hydrolysis. The matter was characterized it prevails by means of physical-chemical methods. For the obtaining of the cellulose microcrystalline he/she intended a design multifactorial of two factors where it was varied the concentrations of hydroxide of sodium of 10%, 20% and 30% in the alkaline hydrolysis with the concentrations of hypochlorite of sodium (2% and 5%) for the bleach of the pulp, taking as answer variable the yield and cellulose purity. In the characterization of the matter it prevails it was obtained, humidity 79.2%, ash 13.30%, and hemicellulose 29.75%, and lignin 9.53%, and cellulose 37.26% and substances entrails 20.61% in percentage of weight. The treatment that presented bigger effectiveness the one that one worked with a solution of 20% of hydroxide of sodium and 5% of solution of hypochlorite of sodium to 5% in yield was (37.95%). The cellulose microcrystalline obtained starting from the Pennisetum Purpureum, fulfills pH parameters, humidity and solubility, the opposite for the parameters of purity and percentage of ashes to be able to be nutritious grade or pharmacist.
