Resumen

MEDINA, Roberto. Intertextual Theory. The Study of Intercontexts. UH [online]. 2022, n.293  Epub 03-Mar-2022. ISSN 0253-9276.

This article aims to consider the intertextual behavior of texts in their capacity to go beyond themselves, once they are placed in an informational, dynamic and variable relationship. Correspondingly, the quotation is approached as a procedure of interaction between the texts of departure and those of arrival. Since the consideration of intertextuality is not limited only to the analysis of discourses placed in relation, the new dimension that could be implied by the expansion of intertextual studies to the expanded level of relations between linked contexts is valued. In the manner of intertextuality, the term intercontexts is used for correlations between contexts. The method of analyzing the cross-correlations between the macro dimensions of intercontexts and the micro dimensions of intertexts is proposed, based on a structural square where texts and contexts form a universe of interwoven links in a system.
