A Cuban patriot, physician and scientific. Combatant of three XIX century wars by the Cuba independence and like a science man he had remarkable reconnaissances and gave us a significant legacy on the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology specialties where he was specialist. Also, he was a prominent Cuban revolutionary, historian and participant of the above mentioned facts as well as an exceptional professor of Obstetrics in the Universidad de La Habana over 30 years. Present paper aspires to be a modest tribute to so distinguished patriot and to recognize its work as an indisputable paradigm of present and future generations of general physicians, military physicians and Cuban gynecologist and obstetrician.
