Counting and identification of adult ticks from animals of both sexes and different ages were carried out for knowing the infestation range and the species. Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus (Can) was evident in 94, 8 % of the bucerros, while in adults was a little infrequent (27,7%). The infestation rate was significant in the bucerros (19,7 ticks/animal). The localization of ectoparasites was in the ventral area and ears of bucerros, while in adults were observed in the perineal area.
