Resumen
RODRIGUEZ, María Teresa et al. Fetal stimulation in research animals. AMC [online]. 1998, vol.2, n.3, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1025-0255.
With the aim of checking the transmission level of conditioning, in some generations of rats trained during pregnancy, an experimental, longitudinal and predictive study was performed in 30 rats at the Veterinary Clinic of "Carlos J. Finlay" Medical School of Camagüey from 1996 to 1997. Animals were divided into a Control group and two study groups. These two final groups mentioned, were subjected to intrauterus stimulation and when they reached adulthood, all received a conditioning of active avoidance. The number of true and false responses, as well as the time in seconds of the response was determined in all rats. Greater number of true and false responses was found in Group I than in the control one (p= 0), and the behaviour in Group II was the same as in the Control one (p < 0.01). There was transmission of the conditioning applied during gestation, and the fetal stimulation showed great value so as to ease learning.
