A case lingual thyroid in a five years old girl is presented. She was assisted at the Provincial Pediatric Hospital of Camagüey. It is rare entity in pediatric practice, which has made is to investigate about some aspects of interest in this disease in children, its clinical, pathoanatomic characteristics and behaviour to follow.
