ABSTRACT A descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out in a sample of 104 patients who assisted to Cerro Pelado Dental Clinic in the center area of Camagüey, during February 2002 with the aim of determining the satisfaction level of population with the services received. Once data are reviewed, different variables are grouped: age, sex, school level, services used and occupation, we reached to some conclusions. The greatest numbers of surveyed was represented by persons satisfied for 51, 9 %, femenine sex prevailed (50, 9 % out of the total) and men resulted to be the most satisfied with the attention received (51 %). The greatest satisfaction percentage was found in the group from 15 to 34 years old. Patients, who have finished preuniversitary studies, were the most satisfied. The services most used were those of consulting for oral health and general integral odontology. The higher percentage of satisfaction corresponded to the group of workers. We were able to determine that eventhough the great majority, of population that attended to the clinic showed unsatisfaction due to the problems detected. The satisfaction index was that of 90 %.
