A prospective study in 40 patients with unstable thoracolumbar spine fractures was carried out with the aim of eliminating the high number of complications and sequelae that these patients suffer. They were assisted at Manuel Ascunce Domenech Provincial Hospital and treated early by a multidisciplinary team. The masculine sex and age from 24 to 55 years prevailed. The most frequent topographic localization level was T-40 to L-2, in most of the patients the cause of trauma was height falling. Frequent complications in the postoperatory were stated as well as associated lesions found. Patients were related according to neurologic levels of AASI initially and its variation after treatment. Good results were found in the majority of patients. The treatment method showed good results.
