An updated bibliographical review on the patient’s management with knee fractures was carried out. Important aspects were analyzed like the classification, diagnosis, imaging studies, the varieties of the conservative treatment and the precautions to take during its application. Some variants were exposed with regard to the surgical treatment keeping into account the personality of the lesion changes patient to patient, as well as the configuration of the fracture, among other aspects. Reference was made to the assisted fixation methods by arthroscopy and to the most found complications in this kind of fracture.
