Resumen

Implantación de limites de exposición ocupacional a sustancias nocivas en cuba. Situación actual y perspectivas. Rev Cubana Hig Epidemiol [online]. 1996, vol.34, n.2, pp. 38-43. ISSN 1561-3003.

A critical analysisi of the present situation of the establishment of occupational exposure levels to chemical substance in Cuba is made, stressing that their introduction is a significant achievement of ocuupational health in the country, in spite of the fact that there are some deficiencies and imprecisions that may and must be corrected, even when there exist the organization and the necessary means to lie down a scientific and coherent policy for evaluating and controlling the occupational chemical risks. Finally, some specific recommendations for their improvement and complementation are offered.
