Improving the strike zone constitutes an objective of the technical preparation done by coaches, as it influences the intellectual, physical and mental development of pitchers to prepare them for their good performance. The study of the need to address the shortcomings in the preparation of youth pitcher’s category sub-18 EIDE “Ormani Arenado". The means allow improving the strike zone, where pitchers correct the difficulties presented, reaching the highest concentration, control of the area, reducing the number of launches and walks per innings.
