The comparative study of two institutions of higher education in Mexico and Cuba is an excellent theoretical and methodological contribution to interpret from the work of Pierre Bourdieu, developed between 1994 and 2011, those elements that distinguish in the university framework what it has been defined as Public University Bureaucracy. The inquiry at the same time contributes to the understanding of diverse edges of the Sciences of Education.
