This paper has as one of its aims to determine the relationship existing between the quality of the touristic services and the touristic security in the district of Huanta, Ayacucho, Peru, during the year 2022. The main aim is to measure the situation of both aspects in this district. To achieve the first objective, we carried out a correlation among these two variables. For this end, we applied a survey to 384 selected tourists in a random way about their experience during their visit to the district of Huanta in the year 2022. The variables that we measured were "quality of the touristic services" and "touristic security". The quality of the services is described in a qualitative way by the tourists, where they should evaluate its degree of satisfaction about the services received during its stay in the district. The second variable "touristic security" corresponds to the security that feels the tourist of moving for the district without being victim of a criminal act, a medical problem or others. According to the obtained results, 73.2% of the total of those interviewed think that the quality of the borrowed touristic services is not good, while 53.1% say that an appropriate touristic security does not exist. These results constitute a starting point to identify which are the problems suffered by the tourism in the district, and the way to improve the indicators of the touristic industry inside the district.
