ABSTRACT: In the following article an analysis of the antecedents on the preparation, training and surpassing of the directors of the tourism in Cuba is made. There is a step-by-step examination of the preparation, training and improvement and its evolution in the world, as well as the way in which they have been developed in Cuba, emphasizing the post-Revolution stage, where the greatest advances have been achieved.
