The university promotes linkage programs and pre-professional internships where the beneficiaries are third year high school students from public educational institutions. The objective of this research was to design a didactic strategy for the learning of mathematics in third year high school students. The type of study developed was descriptive; theoretical and empirical methods were used, which allowed a better analysis of the problem and helped the researchers to gather more information about the object of study. Among the main results obtained is the design and implementation of the didactic strategy itself, which constitutes an essential practical contribution to the teaching-learning process of Mathematics. With the use of ICT and the activities developed, students were better prepared. The results achieved reflect that a large percentage of the students obtained high scores in the university entrance exam.
