Introduction:

Considering the preponderance of autonomous learning promoted in the Covid-19 pandemic, it was pertinent to conduct a systematic review to know the research published in indexed journals between 2020 and 2022.

Objective:

To conduct a systematic review on Autonomous Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and to locate the countries with such academic productions.

Methods:

The present study is of a basic type. From the selection of articles and doctoral theses published between 2020 and 2022 (during the Covid-19 pandemic), a population of 767 articles was identified in Scopus, 64 records in Scielo and 759 in Google Scholar, after processing, a sample of 52 articles remained.

Results:

The country with the most academic productions on autonomous learning in Basic Education is Peru with four, followed by Ecuador with three scientific productions; also in other latitudes there are some researches.

Conclusions:

In Latin American countries, research interest in autonomous learning in basic education grew and there was an aspiration to carry out studies in health during the Covid-19 pandemic.
