The teaching of Cuban History from the local level is an aspect to be prioritized in the Secondary Basic Education so that students expand their knowledge to achieve their personal identity and develop a patriotic and anti-imperialist awareness. In spite of the theoretical and practical contributions made by the different researchers regarding the treatment of Local History, even in the municipality Venezuela of the province of Ciego de Avila, there are insufficiencies in the preparation of professionals in the structures of management of Education Basic Secondary for the direction of the treatment of local history in the program of History of Cuba of ninth degree. To solve the problem in the article, a Training Strategy is proposed to perfect the preparation of the management structures of the Secondary Basic Education of the municipality of Venezuela in the treatment of Local History in the program of History of Cuba of the ninth degree.
