The present work is the result of a study and development perspective of the tutorial management for the Business Administration School, of the Metropolitan University of Ecuador; area of knowledge that groups the careers: Business Administration and Management. The need for the proposal is based on the logic of achieving an adequate management of the professionals in training, in the academic periods that it studies; the attention to the individual and group needs in the social-academic order and the corresponding vision of a process of integral formation and values for the graduate. The conceptions concerning the role of the tutor and the tutoring work as a management process in teaching are addressed; the elements that explain the task at each stage of the student's development according to their academic level; as well as the actions projected by the area of knowledge in question, based on the improvement of the quality of higher education.
