The health emergency caused by COVID-19 has directly hit the way of life, especially marked by social isolation, generating a situation never seen before in educational settings, this document presents the results of an investigation developed with The purpose of identifying the pedagogical and technological challenges faced by teachers of basic superior and high school of the city of Ibarra in times of pandemic, for which an online survey was applied to teachers of the different educational units of the city of Ibarra -Ecuador, coming to determine that both at a pedagogical and technological level are significant challenges, fundamentally in terms of the drastic change in methodology and didactic resources, as well as the fact of having to acquire technological equipment, make improvements in connectivity and be quickly trained in the use of new technologies, with a concern marked by groups of students who do not have technological access.
