Emotional exhaustion has become one of the most frequent risks in the work environment of the present century. The research presented here aims to evaluate the emotional exhaustion of university teachers in virtual learning environments during the pandemic. For the development of the work, the instruments used to measure emotional exhaustion are reviewed and a procedure consisting of four stages and a questionnaire is proposed. The results show that more than 60% of the teachers studied suffer from emotional exhaustion and that the elements that most affect it are exhaustion at the end of the working day, excessive time dedicated to work and low level of concentration during the working day.
