With the aim of assessing the relevance of legal problem solving in the teaching of Law, this article is carried out. From the use of the analysis-synthesis and legal theoretical methods, general aspects related to the teaching of Law and problem solving as one of the valid methodologies for the achievement of an integral professional, who responds in a better way to the needs demanded by society, are approached. Reference is made to the advantages that this generates, as well as to some issues to be considered to develop a teaching in which this methodology is taken into account. All this is supported by the conclusions, which recognize its value and relevance.
