The training of professionals in Higher Education is a process of continuous improvement in correspondence to the social needs and strategic objectives of each country. An important process within the educational teaching process is constituted by university-company relations, which in recent years have been the subject of studies by several researchers. In the Veterinary Medicine career, these links are of greater importance, since the systematic actions of students with companies and productive entities of different types in the territory, contribute greatly to the formation of professional skills and shorter modes of action. to the situation in the country. In the investigation, a study of the university-company relations was carried out within the educational teaching process in the Veterinary Medicine career of the UNIANDES University, Ecuador. Alternatives are proposed to be used to enhance these relationships and within them the most important ones that have to be prioritized within the training process of the career are determined.
