The Comprehensive Policy for the Improvement of the Computerization of Society in Cuba is inserted as one of the strategic sectors of the socioeconomic development of the country and the elevation of the quality of life of citizens, with foreseeable impacts at the local level. In this framework, the implementation of electronic government aims to expand the participation of citizens in decision-making, ensure the dynamics and transparency of government management. In this communication with the objective of assessing the results of the study of audiences and results that have been developed in Cienfuegos, to boost the implementation of electronic government (e-government). The study was based on the systematization of Latin American experiences and the practices developed by the Desoft Computer Applications Company in Cienfuegos. As a result, the analysis of the behavior of the implementation of e-government and projections that will be undertaken as an essential contribution to the computerization strategy of Cuban society is presented.
