ERAZO ALVAREZ, Juan Carlos y NARVAEZ ZURITA, Cecilia Ivonne. The impact of university social responsibility in the university of Cuenca's public universities. Conrado [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.89, pp. 378-387. Epub 30-Dic-2022. ISSN 1990-8644.
University social responsibility (USR) is a term used by researchers to define the principles of equality, ethics, solidarity and responsibility of the actors belonging to the university context, which in the case of this research are the Universities and Polytechnic Schools (UEP) of the city of Cuenca-Ecuador and in which it is intended to determine the impact that USR has on them. This research was based on a non-experimental design, using qualitative information obtained through consultation with experts and document review. The general sample design was based on the principles of convenience sampling. It was found that the results were favorable with respect to the dimensions analyzed, in which citizenship training, non-discrimination based on gender, race, socioeconomic level or political or sexual orientation, teaching about the national reality and the country's social problems, and that the universities offer their personnel a physical, human, pleasant and safe environment, favoring the care of people, stand out.
