The research is related to teacher reflection in feedback. The objective was to determine the influence of the role of the reflective teacher in mathematics feedback to students of a school in Chiclayo from a review of the state of the art. The research corresponds to the type of literature review for which research corresponding to databases, repositories and specialized websites were selected, having as criteria that they are from the last years, having a sample of 20 articles, of which mostly from the Scopus database, in the study it was found that the features of feedback to the amount, form and the audience offered to the group to whom they are addressed. Likewise, the role of the reflective teacher is the function that every teacher must execute on the beliefs, practices, attitudes and values that involve the teaching practice to be modified, improved, reformulated and innovated must be individual and group and the influence of the role of the reflective teacher in the formative feedback in the area of mathematics definitely affects the forms and types of feedback that can be given in the classroom for the improvement of learning.
