This work aims to promote a conceptual approach to the relationship established from the social development between dimensions: technological development, sustainability and knowledge management, based on the different criteria discussed in the specialized literature. In this research, document analysis method was used, allowing the assessment of the state of art in this regard and from there, to establish formal or informal relations that occur on its link with development management. As main results we can highlight: the identification of the elements that distinguish the dimensions under study and the lack of a more general practical view about the necessary balance and relevance of interactive realization. An analysis of the considerations relevant to that from the complementation, allow the construction of scenarios of sustainable social development in time.
