It is not possible to achieve a recovery of the cattle industry in Cuba, without increasing the preparation of the remaining professionals in this sector. They have the responsibility to undertake all the required technical work, then it is needed to carry out an effective management and development of their improvement. This work aims at discussing some practical experiences with this purpose, and illustrates their implementation through three successful courses recently developed in the Granma province. Diagnosis allows identifying the needs of improvement, designing the course and its development and also considering important peculiarities of cattle rising sector for teaching its contents practically and for the implementation of the required technologies. The courses developed were attended by more than 100 trainees, most of them belonging to production units. Participants recognized courses of great significance. Success has been possible by the combination of pertinence, quality, excellence and impact. It results an expeditious way to increment effectiveness in the professional development of cattle industry sector.
