The article entitled: "Counseling: a form of organization for the preparation of higher education managers in teacher assessment", is a work that addresses the solution of a professional management problem. It reveals the problem related to the scientific search for an alternative of preparation, from the context of the manager's own action, based on the learning needs identified in practice. Therefore, the objective is to develop advisory actions for managers of the Universities of Cienfuegos Cuba and Metropolitan of Ecuador, in order to direct the evaluation process of the professional in his faculty or area. It expresses in its theoretical foundations the definition of preparation and advice, its requirements and phases. He used the methods: analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive, transit from abstract to concrete, modeling, system approach, and experimental method. In addition, it presents the procedure of implementation of the advice from the conception of the work system.
