The problem focused on the teaching of English in Ecuador generated several changes in the educational system, to help enhance the quality of instruction in this curricular area, so it was proposed as a general objective to determine the influence of the B-learning method in the teaching - learning English for the benefit of the educational community at the Laica University Eloy Alfaro de Manabí Chone Extension; for which the qualitative method was used by interviewing 4 university teachers in the English area. It was obtained as a result that B-learning uses cooperative means under the semi-face-to-face modality supported by social constructivism, in addition it was known that the university center in question does not have all the sufficient digital teaching resources in the computer lab and English, Despite having computer equipment connected to the Internet, the use of the virtual platform with a semi-face-to-face approach is proposed, whose sales favor clear and fluid communication, sharing of information, exchange of experiences. In conclusion, B - learning stimulates the development of skills in the subject of the English language, autonomous work and the strengthening of the quality of higher education.
