MORENO RODRIGUEZ, Christian Josuepth; CEVALLOS VILLEGAS, Dayse María y BALSECA VILLAVICENCIO, Nick Israel. Design of a value chain model for SMES in the city of Guayaquil. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.5, pp. 301-312. Epub 02-Dic-2018. ISSN 2218-3620.
The transformations in the socioeconomic and general policy of Ecuador, and the international environment, have marked inevitable changes in the management and business projection of small and medium enterprises. This research work is aimed at the design of a value chain model for SMEs in the city of Guayaquil, which is based on a theoretical study of models proposed in the literature and a component of experiential analysis. For the development of the proposed model, the main characteristics and specificities of the territory were considered, in such a way that deficiencies presented in the business can be solved and they could contribute to their improvement in a general sense. This model will serve as a guide for the improvement of internal processes, guaranteeing the improvement and continuity of business.
