The present work pretends to show the results obtained from a realized investigation whose fundamental objective was to evaluate the environmental profile of the processes of transmission and distribution of the electrical energy in the province of Cienfuegos. For the realization of the investigation was taken as a reference, the methodology of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) that appears in the series of standards NC ISO 14040. This is complemented with the method of evaluation of impact categories Eco-Speed, predetermined in the SimaPro 7.1 computer tool. The work leads us to obtain conclusions when arriving at concrete results through the application of the Life Cycle Analysis of the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in the Cienfuegos territory. In addition, a series of measures are proposed that must be applied by the Electricity Enterprise to reduce the consumption of resources and the environmental impacts produced by the mentioned processes.
