The present work is part of the intervention of the Linguistic StudiesDiscipline, in the Project sponsored by the Department of Primary Education of the University of Cienfuegos. It deals with a practical experience starting from the work with the text. Its essence resides in the educational intervention in the community. A literary text is commented and some of its fragments are dramatized with the purpose of perfecting the communicative practice of the residents. Pressing topics of the contemporary society are debated in an environment of exchange and fraternity. The activity contributed to the axiological, aesthetic and cultural formation of the community residents.
