CHALA MOLINA, Betty y PEREZ PADRON, María Caridad. The teaching-learning process of reading in the course Language Castilla, first cycle of Basic Primary Education. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2019, vol.11, n.4, pp. 171-176. Epub 02-Sep-2019. ISSN 2218-3620.
This article aims to analyze the background and current conditions of the development of the teaching - learning process of reading in Primary Education -EBP- in order to explain how the treatment of reading skills influences learning meaningful, playful and pertinent to the needs of the school context, taking their real situations. The teaching-learning process of the primary school requires interpreting realities, derived from an interconnected, dynamic, living, biodiverse, natural world that needs to be understood, particularly by children. It is a pressing task, for children to be offered the opportunity to be critical and acquire skills, in particular, to read the manifestations of a dynamic world that prepares them for their active participation in society. Vygotsky's postulates are recognized in the historical-cultural approach, which refers that the individual and society are united in their genesis and their historical development; since man is by nature a social being, a fruit of society and therefore subject to social relations. From this perspective, a background search was carried out in relation to the state of the art of reading and its abilities in primary school students (EBP).
