With the objective of basing the contribution of the social nets of families in the transmission of the musical art, it will be carried out a brief theoretical boarding that will allow to settle down to the family nets as fundamental nucleus that contribute to the formation and delimitation of customs, practical and cultural processes in their members for the execution of goals and common objectives. Therefore, they play an important paper in the cultural transmission and mainly in the development of artistic inclinations in the learners like it is the case of the music. The topic is pertinent because it goes into the studies of nets of families, its implication in the cultural transmission and diffusion of the musical art that it understands the process of artistic formation and the projection of knowledge and attitudes associated in the wide sectors of the society. Methods of the theoretical level were used as: historical-logical, analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive, the ethnography like qualitative method and the analysis of documents like main technique. In the theoretical order, it is part of the studies that conjugate History and Anthropology for the analysis of the family, starting from the different epistemological contributions of the disciplines.
