The laboratory of Cienfuegos S.A Refinery, has established its Quality Management system. Any breach in this area affects the strategic objectives of the company. However, said laboratory has not been accredited by the ONARC due to non-compliance with some requirements of the standard ISO ISO / IEC 17025: 2017. Faced with this problem, it is the objective of this research to propose a methodology for the transition of said norm in the Cienfuegos S.A Refinery laboratory supported by prospective techniques. To this end, a proprietary methodology is proposed, worked by 9 experts. The requirements were still to be met in this standard and through the SWOT Matrix the weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities that prevent compliance were determined. In the same way, with the application of the MICMAC and MACTOR methods, the variables and key actors that had to be faced in future scenarios were identified. The most desired scenario was determined using the SMIC method without being the one with the highest probability of occurrence. As results, a strategy and its strategic objectives are presented, the gaps for each requirement were identified and an action plan is proposed, based on the Matrix 5W1H, which will allow the transition of the norm.
